Royal Enfield Himalayan And Meteor’s Prices Slashed, But There’s A Catch
We are only a month into the new financial year and Royal Enfield has already altered the pricing of two of its bikes - the Meteor 350 and the Himalayan. Unfortunately, this price cut comes at the cost of the Tripper navigation assist feature, as up until now, the adventure tourer and cruiser were offered with the feature as standard.
For most prospects of Royal Enfield, this might not be the end of the world, as the Tripper navigation is still available as an optional accessory (only) through the firm’s Make-It-Yours (MiY) configurator. Royal Enfield says the decision to make Tripper navigation an optional extra, which came into effect from May 1, 2022, was taken to reduce dependency on the usage of semiconductor chips, given the ongoing global semiconductor shortage.
Furthermore, the company has also hiked the booking amount for its motorcycles. Both the Himalayan and the Meteor 350 got a price hike recently.
